When Stephen and I got engaged, I knew I wanted our wedding to be intimate and full of personal touches — a celebration of the love we’ve built together, right here by the sea. But let me tell you… planning a beach wedding while also caring for a soon-to-be-toddler has been a whole new adventure!
Some days, it feels like I’m juggling endless to-do lists and nap schedules all at once. But in the middle of the chaos, there’s this beautiful reminder: this is our real life, and it’s perfect in its own messy, sandy, giggly way.
A Love Story by the Sea
Stephen and I fell in love on this very beach. We’ve spent countless dates in that gorgeous emerald water, swimming, talking, and just being together. Some of our favorite memories are late-night walks along the shore, the waves shimmering under the moonlight, and the soft hush of the sand beneath our feet. No matter how long we end up living here, this beach will always hold a special place in our hearts — it’s where our story began, and where we’ll make our vows to each other.
Planning Together
One of the things I’m most grateful for is how Stephen and I are planning everything together. He’s just as invested in our wedding day as I am, making sure every detail feels like us. From picking out the perfect beachy color palette to choosing our favorite songs for the ceremony, we’re truly a team. And of course, Jace is along for the ride too — he’s our little helper, always ready with a giggle or a snuggle when we need it most.
Sweet Moments & Silly Memories
One of my favorite parts about planning this beach wedding? Seeing Jace’s tiny footprints in the sand, or the way he laughs when the waves tickle his toes. Even though he won’t remember this day, I know I will — and these sweet moments are becoming part of the story we’re weaving together.
I can’t wait to share more about our big day soon, but for now, I’m holding onto this reminder: wedding planning doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s about love, family, and a future that feels like home.
